We are passionate about supporting every family through their birthing experience, regardless of where you are in the process. From providing prenatal, postnatal, and homebirth care-to holding space/bearing testimony-or providing local resources and referrals, we want you to know that YOU matter, your BABY is precious, and YOUR BIRTH EXPERIENCE is important!
We are a midwifery practice dedicated to providing accessible midwifery care to families in the Pikes Peak region and the CO Eastern Plains. Our two clinics provide easily accessible prenatal care, homebirth, postpartum care, lactation support, pregnancy testing, community education, and plenty of local resources and referrals.
Rosebud Birthing Services provides families seeking a homebirth with empowering, competent midwifery care through the childbearing year. We strongly believe in the autonomy of the pregnant family as a unit, informed consent that leads to a co-sharing of care decision-making, and the individuality and needs of each pregnant body. Please see our Homebirth page for further details on what homebirth midwifery care looks like in the pre, peri, and post natal periods.
The Eastern Plains Easy Access Clinic is our maternity clinic located in Limon, CO. This easy access clinic is designed to bring accessible, low-cost, quality maternity care to low-risk families residing in the maternity deserts on CO Eastern Plains. This cash-pay-per-appointment model allows us to provide support both prenatally and postpartum to all families, while planning to birth in hospital in Colorado Springs or Denver. Again, we focus on empowering our families through informed consent and education, so that when your baby's birthday arrives, you are prepared and supported for your best birth experience. No families are turned away from this program, regardless of financial difficulties, times of crisis, race, or identity.
About the EAstern plains midwife
Stephanie Sibert is the owner and primary midwife at Rosebud Birthing Services, serving Eastern El Paso, Lincoln, Elbert, and Crowley counties. She lives with her two cats, Loki and Thor, and in her off-call time loves camping and kayaking, thunderstorms (but not together!), and spending time with friends and family.
Stephanie's training spanned 6 years of apprenticeship and over 170 births with one of the longest-standing midwives in Colorado Springs. She also received exposure and training from multiple other homebirth practices in the area, and also provided doula support for mothers birthing in the hospital setting. Stephanie's education included management of prenatal care, labor, handling of labor/birth emergencies, postpartum support, postpartum care complications and emergencies, newborn assessments/screenings, and interpretation of labwork. Stephanie completed the North American Registry of Midwives Portfolio Evaluation Process (NARM PEP process) in December of 2016 and successfully passed the national examination in early 2017. She now joyfully attends births as a Colorado Registered Midwife (RM). Stephanie is the primary midwife for Rosebud Birthing Services and secondary midwife with A Mother's Choice Midwifery.
